In a culture where feminine sexuality is both commodified and repressed, “Out of Exile” seeks to awaken a new sexual narrative; A true story of unbridled freedom that is born from the fertile ground of deep trust with the masculine polarity, regardless of the gender it expresses through. Pleasure in the body is a purifying force and it is time that it takes its rightful place in the pantheon of medicine. The story told by the lyrics explores two distinct tastes of the erotic impulse. First is the passionate aliveness of being met in unbridled desire. Second is the hidden erotic power of surrender in the feminine principle, which provides a model for living an embodied spiritual life. Both of these tastes are aspects of sexual union, which is a model for union with the greater divine impulse that can be described as Eros itself.

The track begins with a layer of ethereal “oohs” and “ahhs” as Vylana’s sultry vocals evoke an almost haunting like texture woven into the bassline of the ancient future tribal rhythms of breakout producer Savej. Echoed throughout the track are the rising waves of Laura Escude’s cinematic violins accompanied by the sensual drip of electric guitar riffs co-creating a truly electrifying and climactic performance. Vylana’s versatility builds upon a soundscape that morphs an array of influences that pull from elements of world music, tribal, electronic, rock and pop.
