“Phoenix” is a celebration of the alchemy of pain into liberation that transcends the simple limitations of ‘music’ alone.

It is the first single from the forthcoming project “Goddess Rise” which will be accompanied by a stunningly cinematic and dangerously raw visual album. Guiding the listener through a journey of invocation, “Phoenix” can be described as climactic, inspiring, and undeniably activating.

Championing themes of reclamation within the dark feminine, Vylana channels a message that now is the time for the divine within us all to be remembered and awakened to shine in its full radiance. The setting of the track is established by the ancient future tribal rhythms of breakout producer Savej, and the story of the track follows the arc of a great ceremony. It opens with a rising wave of Laura Escudé’s cinematic violins, setting the tone for the gentle ferocity expressed by Vylana’s powerful vocals. Vylana’s versatility and performance dances between singing to spoken word, and pulls from elements of world music, trance, tribal, and mantra.
